Below we explain exactly what the price of a euro pallet depends on, what to tell us so you get a quote on the first call, and how you can save if you also have old pallets to sell.
Why there is no price list on our website
Euro pallets are traded much like a raw material. Their price moves with demand from manufacturers and warehouses, timber availability, the season and the number of used pallets coming back into circulation. G-PAL operates as a pallet exchange: every day we buy from some companies and sell to others. That is why we know today’s price, not last month’s.
If we published a fixed figure, it would either be inflated “just in case” or we would have to correct it over the phone. Either way, you lose time. So our rule is simple: today’s price, on request – just call us.
What determines the price of euro pallets
When you call, we will ask you a few short questions. Each of them affects the final price.
1. Type of pallet
We distinguish between the new EPAL euro pallet, the new UIC euro pallet, the used EPAL pallet, the used euro-size skid 120×80 and the pallet collar (frame) 1200×800, as well as skids and non-standard sizes made to order. Each type has its own price because they differ in construction, the amount of timber used and their purpose.
2. New or used
A new pallet has clean, light-coloured timber and full markings. A used pallet has already been in circulation, but if it is sound it does the same job in the warehouse and in transport. The price difference between new and used is significant, which is why many companies mix the two: new pallets for exports and demanding customers, used ones for internal logistics.
3. Grade: light or dark
We sort used euro pallets into light and dark. Light pallets are less worn, the wood has kept its colour and they look almost new, which is why they cost more. Dark pallets have timber that has darkened with longer use, but they are sound and fit for work. They are the better-value option when appearance doesn’t matter.
4. EPAL or UIC
Both standards measure 1200×800 mm. EPAL is the most recognised brand in Europe, and many retail chains and freight forwarders require it specifically for pallet exchange. UIC is the marking associated with the railway standard and is also widely used. If your customer requires a particular marking, let us know, as this changes the price.
5. Quantity
The price per pallet is different when you buy a few pallets and when you order a full truckload. For larger and regular quantities we can offer a better daily price, because transport and loading are spread over more units.
6. Transport
You can collect the pallets yourself from our yard at 270 Vasil Levski Blvd, Plovdiv, or order delivery by one of our trucks. The delivery cost depends on distance and quantity. There is no fixed minimum order. Within Plovdiv and Plovdiv Province we deliver the same day; to the rest of Bulgaria, by arrangement.
7. The day
It may sound odd, but it’s true: the price also depends on the day. When we have plenty of pallets of a given grade in stock, the price is one thing; when demand is high, it’s another. That is why we say “today’s price”.

- grade – if used, light or dark (if you’re not sure, we’ll advise you based on your goods);
- quantity – even a rough figure;

Selling old pallets? Your bill goes down
Many of our customers have used pallets piling up in their yards. We buy back all types of pallets and skids: we come to your site, inspect them, pay on the spot and load them with our own trucks. There is no need to sort them.
The best deal is to combine the two: the truck delivers the new or used pallets you ordered and loads your old ones on the way back. Quality and licence
G-PAL carries out euro pallet repairs under EPAL licence BG-308, an official licence issued by EPAL. This means our repaired pallets meet the system’s requirements and can be used in pallet exchange. We work with manufacturers certified under ISPM 15 (International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15) for wood packaging material, which matters if you export goods outside the EU.

Because the price of euro pallets changes with the market, availability and grade. Instead of a sample figure, we give you the real price for the day over the phone, in about a minute.
Which is cheaper, EPAL or UIC?
It depends on what is available that day. Both standards measure 1200×800 mm. If you have no marking requirement, tell us and we’ll offer you the better-value option.
What is the difference between a light and a dark used pallet?
A light pallet is less worn and looks almost new, so it costs more. A dark pallet has darkened timber but is sound, fit for work and better value.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
We sell both wholesale and in small quantities. There is no fixed minimum for delivery; its cost depends on distance and quantity.
How much does delivery cost?
It depends on the distance from Plovdiv and the number of pallets. Within Plovdiv and Plovdiv Province we deliver the same day. Call us and we’ll give you the total – pallets plus transport.
Can I trade in my old pallets for new ones?
Yes. The truck delivers your order and loads your old pallets on the way back. Their value is deducted from your bill.
