📞 Call: +359 877 166 555 · Viber · WhatsApp
Do you have euro pallets, skids or other pallets taking up space in your warehouse or yard? G-PAL buys them back. Call us on +359 877 166 555, tell us roughly what you have and where it is, and we’ll give you today’s buy-back price. We come to your site, inspect the pallets, pay on the spot and load them with our own truck. You don’t need to sort the pallets beforehand.
On this page we explain openly how the buy-back price is set – without figures, because they change, but with every factor that affects it. That way you’ll know what to expect before we arrive.
How the buy-back works, step by step
- Call or message. Call or write to us on +359 877 166 555 (phone, Viber, WhatsApp). If you can, send a photo of the stack – it helps us assess the grade.
- Indicative price. During the call we give you today’s price by type and grade.
- On-site inspection. The truck comes to you. Our team member checks the pallets and sorts them by type and grade on the spot – you don’t have to do anything.
- Payment on the spot. Once the pallets are inspected and counted, we pay immediately.
- Loading. We load with our own transport and clear the space for you.
You’ll find more about the service on our main page, Euro pallet and skid buy-back.
What the buy-back price depends on
There is no single buy-back price for all pallets. These are the factors we use to set it:
Type of pallet
Euro pallets marked EPAL or UIC, measuring 1200×800 mm, have the largest market and therefore get the best buy-back price. We also buy euro-size skids 120×80, pallet collars (frames) and non-standard pallets, but their price is different because demand for them is different. We buy all types – we never turn pallets down because of their type.
Condition and grade
We sort used euro pallets into light and dark. Light pallets are less worn, the wood is well preserved and they resell for more, so their buy-back price is higher too. Dark pallets have been in use longer, but as long as they are sound, there is a market for them. We also buy pallets with broken boards or blocks – we repair some of them under our EPAL licence BG-308 and put them back into circulation.
Markings
A legible EPAL or UIC marking on the blocks increases the value. If the marking is missing or illegible, the pallet is valued as a standard (unbranded) pallet.
Quantity
The more pallets there are in one place, the more cost-effective the trip is for us and the better the price we can offer. With small numbers the price per pallet is lower, because transport makes up a bigger share of the cost per unit.
Location and distance
Our yard is in Plovdiv. In Plovdiv and Plovdiv Province, buy-back is simplest and can often be done the same day. For other towns we arrange a trip; if we have a delivery in the same area, we combine the two and the buy-back price is better. See Pallet buy-back across Bulgaria.
The day and the market
G-PAL is a pallet exchange: every day we buy from some companies and sell to others. When a particular grade is in demand, the buy-back price rises; when we have plenty of it in stock, it falls. That is why we always say “today’s price”.
How to get a better buy-back price
- Gather the pallets in one place that a truck can reach. The faster we can load, the lower the cost.
- Keep them out of the rain if you can. Wet and mouldy timber loses value.
- Don’t dismantle or cut them – a whole pallet is always worth more than its parts.
- Call when you have a larger quantity rather than a handful at a time – the price per pallet is better.
- Combine with a purchase – if you need new or used pallets, the truck brings them and takes your old ones on the way back. Their value is deducted from your bill.
Sell and buy in a single trip
Our trucks work on the return leg too. If you need new EPAL or UIC euro pallets or used pallets, your order arrives on the truck and your old pallets leave on it. You pay the difference. This is the most common way companies with a steady turnover of pallets work with us – see Wholesale pallets for businesses.
Who sells pallets to G-PAL
We buy from warehouses and logistics centres that receive goods on pallets and don’t need to send them back; from manufacturers changing their packaging; from shops and retail chains; from construction companies after a project is finished; and from farms after the season. We also buy from private individuals if the quantity justifies the trip.
The pallets we buy don’t end up in a skip. Sound ones are sorted and resold, damaged ones are repaired, and those beyond repair are used as timber. That way a pallet lives through several more cycles.
What we can’t promise
We can’t quote an exact figure without knowing what you have. That’s why we always ask first about type, quantity and location. The price given on the phone is indicative and the final price is confirmed at inspection – but if the pallets are as you described them, it doesn’t change.
If you want to check whether your pallets are genuine euro pallets, see euro pallet dimensions, weight and markings.
What to tell us when you call
So that we can give you today’s buy-back price on the first call, have the following ready:
- what pallets you have – euro pallets, skids, collars, non-standard;
- a rough number of each type;
- their general condition – whether they were stored under cover or outdoors, and whether many are broken;
- the address and whether a truck can get access;
- whether you also need pallets in exchange.
You don’t need to be an expert – if you don’t know whether your pallets are EPAL or UIC, light or dark, just send us a photo. We’ll identify them.
Buy-back enquiry
Fill in the form: what you have, roughly how many and the address. If you have a photo, send it via Viber or WhatsApp to +359 877 166 555.
Frequently asked questions about euro pallet buy-back
What is the buy-back price for a euro pallet?
It depends on the type, grade (light or dark), marking, quantity and location. Call us and we’ll give you today’s price – usually on the first call.
Do I need to sort the pallets?
No. Our team member checks and sorts them on site. You just show us where they are.
When do you pay?
Immediately, once the pallets have been inspected and counted on site.
Do you buy broken pallets?
Yes, we buy all types of pallets and skids. Damaged pallets fetch a lower price, but we take them – some of them we repair under EPAL licence BG-308.
Do you come outside Plovdiv?
Yes, with our own transport anywhere in Bulgaria. Plovdiv and Plovdiv Province are the fastest. For other towns we arrange a trip, and with a large quantity or a combined delivery the terms are better.
Can I swap my old pallets for new ones?
Yes. The truck brings your new order and loads the old pallets, and their value is deducted from your bill.
