How we buy back outside Plovdiv

Our only warehouse is in Plovdiv, so for each town outside the province we either organise a dedicated trip or combine the buy-back with a delivery in the same area. The larger the quantity in one place, the easier it is for us to come and the better the buy-back price. With a small number of pallets over a long distance, transport can cost more than the pallets are worth – in that case we’ll tell you honestly.

The best-value option is to sell and buy in a single trip: if you need new or used pallets, the truck brings them and loads your old ones on the way back. The value of the old pallets is deducted from your bill.

What the buy-back price depends on

  • type – EPAL/UIC euro pallet, skid, collar, non-standard;
  • grade – light or dark, sound or damaged;
  • marking – legible or not;
  • quantity in one place;
  • distance from Plovdiv;

How to prepare for the inspection

You don’t need to stack or sort the pallets – that’s our job. Just tell us roughly how many there are and make sure a truck can reach the place where they’re stored. If the pallets are spread across several spots in your yard or warehouse, let us know in advance so we can plan the loading time. If possible, keep them under cover until the day of collection – dry pallets are valued higher than wet ones. On the day, our team member checks the pallets, sorts them by type and grade, tells you the amount and pays on the spot. Then we load them and clear the space.

What happens to the pallets we buy

The pallets we buy go to our yard in Plovdiv, where they’re sorted. Sound ones are resold, damaged ones are repaired under EPAL licence BG-308, and those beyond repair are used as timber. That way pallets go back into circulation instead of becoming waste.
